a free 60-minute live workshop for misophonia relief

The Safer Sounds Workshop

MAY 16 | 10:00 AM MST | LIVE ON ZOOM

You've been having reactions you can't explain, and managing them quietly for a long time.

The everyday you’ve been living with:

  • Certain sounds send you into a panic and you're tired of managing it alone

  • The dinner table where you can never quite relax

  • The emergency headphones and earplugs always at the ready

  • The shame and confusion after the rage

  • The exhaustion of carrying something nobody else seems to understand

You've probably wondered if you're too sensitive, broken in some way, or just bad at being around people.

You're not.

There's a real explanation for what's happening, and a real path toward relief.

You don't have to keep suffering this way.

here’s what you need to know:

To your nervous system, your reaction makes complete sense. You just haven't heard the underneath of it before.

what we’ll do together:

In 60 minutes, we'll meet your reaction with curiosity instead of shame and uncover what's actually been driving it all along.

the outline

You’ll leave with:

01 your own personal map of what’s underneath your reaction

A clear, written breakdown of exactly what's been driving your misophonia. The body, the emotions, the beliefs, and the unmet needs, so you finally know what you're working with instead of guessing.

02 a way to begin softening your reactions in real time

A practical, body-based tool you can start using this week, so the very next time a trigger comes, something is already different.

03 the relief of finally understanding yourself, without feeling crazy or ashamed about it

The kind of relief that comes when something you've been confused by your whole life finally makes sense, and stops feeling like proof that something's wrong with you.

ABOUT YOUR GUIDE:

I’m Megan, and I know what this suffering is like. And, I’ve found relief.

I'm a licensed therapist in Colorado, trained in EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I've also lived with misophonia since I was a kid. But, over the past couple of years, through my own work with a Sensorimotor Psychotherapist, I've started to find real relief. The kind of relief I once didn't believe was possible.

This workshop is the work I wish I'd had earlier. It's body-based, grounded in real science, and held with the warmth I needed when I was at my most overwhelmed with this.

This workshop is for you if...

You hate certain sounds and you're tired of managing it alone

You suspect there's something deeper underneath the reaction, and you want to understand it

You've tried coping strategies and you're still here

You want to listen to your nervous system in a new way

You're scared to hope things can change, but something in you keeps looking anyway

This workshop is not for you if…

You're looking for tips and tricks to mask or avoid your triggers, we're going underneath the reaction, not around it

You want a quick fix or a guarantee that one workshop will solve this, this is the beginning of real work, not a magic bullet

You're hoping someone will tell you your reactions aren't your responsibility to work with. The work is yours, even though you don't have to do it alone
